lets see what tonight brings!! I'm certainly looking forward to hearing about the stadium plans. I know there will be no design plans, but just an indication of what the plan is and how long it may take would be good

I don't believe anything will be said tonight other than a brief nod to that fact we are planning to build a new stadium.

This needs to be a sure thing. Imagine the additional revenue for things like track and field and concerts!!!
Can't complain about lack of commercial revenue and then not think about things like this....
But 10000% it's a football stadium first and foremost and let the architect sort out the rest.
Apart from the pies.... We can do that!

Unless it's the Olympics, i can't imagine track and field events bring in much profit.

I think that given the comment from Peel a few days ago implied that talks are currently ongoing, very little will be said tonight. I would imagine they would merely re-iterate their intention to build a new stadium and its importance to the club going forward. Standard fare really.

I just wish SBC was never an option. If the only site considered was the docks then I'd be fine with not having further details. But it's the knowledge that SBC still sits there, waiting for the docks deal to collapse, that makes me eager for them to make it official.
