Correct
So you would want us to stay at Goodison if the dock fell through?
Yes, redeveloping the Goodison area isn't impossible albeit expensive. But a more central dock side site is the massive priority.
OPTION TO PURCHASE SUBJECT TO PLANNING PERMISSION.so....i thought we would have bought the land from the docks.
oh hey wait a minute
For me, the elephant in the room is the waterfront site. But, as somebody said, it’s a complex issue. The challenge with WHP, we wanted a site that could be regenerated. But there were all kinds of issues. But believe you and me, we tried. Everybody is working extremely hard to get the one we all want. On Friday, we announced £20m for a road directly into the dock site. The reality is, there is a railway station being built there. This is the most exciting opportunity this club has had in decades.
There not, they are pushing for the docks for the benefit of the city not for the benefit of Everton
Looks to me we're basically in the same position we've been in before - trying to find funding. This time we have a billionaire so should have a better chance.

“We are optimistic about the new stadium prospects. It’s an optimism tempered by some significant remaining issues that need to be resolved before we can move forward.
But it’s an optimism founded on solid progress on many fronts, most encouragingly, progress in our partnership with the City Council and its willingness to explore options to support our efforts to find the money to make the stadium viable, the biggest challenge we’ve always faced.
