But it's upfront money Sheeds that we are going to be paying back. We're still north of £20m in the poopenhausen to a shady Vibrac type firm.

Last summer saw a monster influx in TV money and final league positions for all clubs. We also sold (for me) a player who will go on to be on the country's top CBs for £50m.

Forget who is on stage with Bill for now - the real question is, why is Bill still there? Why is Elstone? I saw what @The Esk posted in the other thread and I'll be honest, I've got my head in my hands about it. The right questions are not being asked of the Club at the moment and one of the biggest fan influences around at the moment - and he is, he has one of the biggest Everton social media presences and a platform on the Echo website - is being extremely generous with what was served up tonight.

I've seen people saying 'if it falls through it won't be for want of trying'. I mean, can you get a more Everton phrase since the turn of the century phrase than that? Moyes used to say 'we start every season with the goal of winning the league' and we scoffed at him, but he's done a damn sight more than any other bugger in the last two decades to at least try and make that happen.

Of course he's going to get things wrong, he doesn't sit at the table which brokers the deals or signs them off. He passes on information from someone who is closer to it than him

I've been told a lot of stuff about BMD, but I'm far away from the people who sign any agreement and things can change in the drop of a hat.

Nothing in life is certain, and if you feel the need to have a tantrum because a guy in the internet told you something that didn't come true then that's your issue.

I can't see getting in the region of say 2.5 million per year for naming rights and LCC letting us take it all when we pay them in the region of 750K to rent it from them.
