Because it's prime real estate in one of europes most destined development areas. They just don't want us in the front of the city.

I think we are more likely to mess it up ourselves but if we do they will it as a victory.

In all my years I have not heard Liverpool fans worry like they are right now, this one has really got to them, KD I dont recall them being like this but they know deep down this is the real deal. Lets be honest, they really aren't as far ahead of us as they think, and far behind United City and Chelsea, Spurs are pretty much passing them, considering how adrift we have been for years and they think they are one of the big boys, they know this can cross the gap.

With the business power of Moshiri, (UMD) and potentially Usmanov (fully coming on board once the dock stadium is underway), I cannot see how it can fail.

The announcement of the new road structure and station indicates that something is in the pipeline. The site has been visited by the stadium designers and our owners and any potential issues will have been discussed and planned for well ahead of this weeks AGM and subsequent council reveals.

Of course there will be a number of bitter reds worried about us potentially passing them by in this business is everything era of football.
But no amount of marches with paintings of past managers and scarves is going to be able to derail some of the most powerful businessmen from the Eastern hemisphere.
