That one way tunnel glass so the rich people get to see the players but the players don't get to see them is just strange. Ruined the whole stadium for me. What a naff stadium they will have.

If you were going to have a tunnel through a set of fans then obviously it would be the most boisterous section to get your players going.

And of course as well to intimidate the opposition. Paying lots of money to sedately watch footballers who can't see or hear you isn't my cup of tea.

Like forever, we have been running round in circles mate.

But. The new defacto owner appears to have pulled off the master stroke of getting LCC, Peel Holdings, and possibly others, to seemingly make proper progress on a new ground, we 99% think, 100% hope, will be a waterfront job, on the northern end of the docks.

The drips from the archeitect, (soz), and snippets on here suggest we are aiming for an iconic, world class, top top ground.

Yeah, cos that amazing stadium with great facilities, amazing views all round, is 'ruined' and 'naff' all because of a simple corpy gimmick?! Behave yourself.

I know what you mean, but a new ground has to have a element of nothing but coin generation, like the NFL stadiums with a bar selling hot dogs while the game is on. Sounds grim for us traditional fans, but to compete with the top teams you also have to be able to cater for tourists with deep pockets.

Sure, it's all commercially-driven, no problem with that. But the whole promotion of it focuses almost exclusively on that. It's just a bit sad really.
