New Everton Stadium

The 'Susan Meis Super Stadium'. I love it.

How about a dual purpose name 'The Susan Meis Super Bowl'?

That way we get indirect advertising seeing we could stock an actual bowl in Lakeland and other good homeware shops. Don't know what would be 'super' about it but I'm sure Dan can come up with a USP... :p

Continuing on the theme of US and A Mega-stadiums, here is another recent Superbowl Venue. The university of Phoenix Stadium opened back in 2007, with a regular capacity of 63,000 (the kind of figure I reckon EFC should be aiming for). This number can be expanded to a whopping 78,000 for certain standing events. I'm liking the futuristic "UFO" styling of it, very 21st century. The sliding pitch and retractable roof are very smart IMO.

Not too fussed on one end lacking seating however (being dominated by a huge screen)- and the seat colour is way off!

I do find many aspects of it appealing though. What do forum members reckon?

Well, he designed jewelry based upon the facade of the Stadio Della Roma, maybe this is what is planned for us.

Are there any volcanoes within the Liverpool City limits? I want our new stadium built in to a frikkin' volcano, rigged to spew liquid hot magma every time we score.

Cant we have a stadium that floats on the Mersey, and when we conquer Europe the stadium can be floated around Europe as a fan zone?
Boss idea this mate, seasick bags under each seat, fishing rods in case the game is dull, rifles to take pot shots a wools in New Brighton, the ideas are endless with a floating stadium

If we're playing gash the fans can have a vote via a button under their seats. More than 50% vote "booooo!" and the pitch retracts outside with the match continuing. A big screen will then pop up playing "the best of the Martinez era" to appease those wanting to see entertaining football. I'm all for it, make it happen. ;)

To those of you who think Dan Meis should only talk about stadium stuff on his personal Twitter feed, I assume on your own personal Twitter accounts you only talk about your job too right?
Dan Meis comes across as a guy who cares about the world & the people living in it. I want a guy like that to design us a stadium.
We are the people's club, now we have the people's architect.
As others have said, it's great that we have a guy actually engaging with the fans & listening.
I suggest you follow his businessess Twitter feed for 100% stadium talk only.

And after a big win, it can float out to international waters for debauched celebrations.
