New Everton Stadium

Nah Dave, this is too far now. You are genuinely not real.
How D'you mean? Plenty of people are iffy over Meis and his tweets.

Why is he so public with these tweets on the club? Yes, I get the fact that he wants to build any new stadium, but is this the way to go about it? Seems pretty undignified to me.

Imagine how annoying it must be for him, having hundreds on a daily basis - "how's the stadium coming?" "Any stadium news" "Announce new stadium."

I doubt he's a media whore, more he responds to questions just to stop the slew of repetitive tweets.

I don't know how many times I've seen him respond to ones like - "No Bowl" "Don't make it a Bowl" "We don't want a bowl" despite the fact he's tweeted maybe 10/20 times saying it won't be.

Think he even ragged Esk along once over it.

The deal for the ground is 99.9% a done deal. That podcast from a few pages back isn't far from the truth according to the source I spoke to, earlier this week. Exciting times for the club and the city too from what I am told. I've always wanted to go the olympics but suppose I'll have to settle for the commonwealth games instead!

The feller sounds throroughly unprofessional to me. He's obviously charmed a lot of people though - promising an iconic stadium. I hope for his sake he gets it right and all his boastfulness has substance. He'll suffer an almighty social media onslaught if this ends up with some Kirkby disaster.

I missed the podcast amongst all the bitching about what an architect tweeted. What was the essence of it please.

WORLD CLASS, Dave.

Haha ffs why do you people even entertain Dave anymore? Every thread he finds something to bitch about yet you fall for it hook line and sinker.
He's a wum. .. every thread is the same.... he just derails it with his inane tosh just to wind people up. Ignore him. ... don't feed the troll.

And yet every thread there you guys are bringing it up. Here's an idea.

Instead of the sly remarks in thread and continue on your way, report any post that you see might break the rules and then continue on your way.

Each time you comment, it draws the issue out.

Basically along the lines that Usmanov has got a great interest at Everton and he IS gonna be at Everton in the close distant future. He is basically pulling the strings at Everton from what I can gather. We've gotta be patient cos it could take up to 5 years but once we do, it will be worth it. I can't name names(I did previously in this thread. Got a bollocking from my boss...didn't know he reads this forum)but they've been sold a promise on Everton and what these opportunities are gonna bring to the Everton and Liverpool as a city.
