You're hung like a horse, aren't you? Some are strangely fixated with that capacity thing.
"Oh im gonna be soooo dissapointed if it isnt as big as West Hams stadium" jeez..
So you'd be fine sitting on your own surrounded by 20 empty seats? That wouldn't feel a bit strange?
I remember the early 90s with the seats often well more than 20000 empty, didn't feel like it though, I remember playing Lincoln at home or someone about 8000 in there, better in the Gwladys Street then than in some of the sold outs we get now. You're talking about terracing though, no? 20,000 people all huddled together can still make a hell of a din. 20,000 spread over a 60,000 seater stadium, in different stands and different tiers, will sound like a load of kids shouting in the swimming baths.
Because the mad heads hadn't been banned thenI remember the early 90s with the seats often well more than 20000 empty, didn't feel like it though, I remember playing Lincoln at home or someone about 8000 in there, better in the Gwladys Street then than in some of the sold outs we get now.
Why ???Good grief.

I could actually get a ticket without much stress eitherMore seats for my snacks.
We're well capable of losing to dog turd teams.I hope we play an absolutely dog turd team in it's first game. Can't have the Everton megadome opening with a loss.
All the ones that couldnt get tickets wouldnt be happy.Agreed. In fact I think some clubs with larger stadia will look upon it enviously if we manage to keep a good atmosphere. I'd bet a lot of West Ham and Arsenal fans would trade in their soulless, echoing 60k bowls for an "intimate" 55k stadium (assuming the choice to expand is there). I certainly would.
Why ???
It was a joke?! A heavily disguised one...I think he missed your joke Mike, we operate on a different level to the likes of this @The Cowboy fella
If i could get 4 season tickets for 1000-1200 quid id love to take the kids each week.I think if we built 60k, with the right pricing structure we could fill it every week. Don't underestimate how big Everton is........!
