The falling through of DK was one of the best things to happen to EFC in it's entire history. Anybody pushing for that move should have been banished from the Club forever.

I know, I never really appreciated it at the time, but how close it was to actually being ratified. Thank god for the government!!

The only disappointment with Kirkby was the club trying to go there in the first place.

I know, the whole prospect wasn't good, but I just used it to reinforce the idea that until I see Everton playing in a new stadium, there are many things that can and will go wrong! In this instance it was great that it went wrong!
