New Everton Stadium

There's something pretty alarming about the finances of this club. They get a guaranteed extra £30M per year now in tv revenue and still they're looking for bridging loans borrowed against...erm...two years worth of tv broadcasting deals.

Is there any evidence that debts are ever paid down?

we should defo go with this design and name it Virgina Park

It wasn't mentioned. Only by me anyway. 5 minutes from the rocket. They could re-open the old Sefton Park station which was on Smithdown. Easy to get to Town and the airport. With much better pubs on Wavo high street/Smithdown/Allerton road.

The land was given to the City of Liverpool for sporting events by a 'mystery' lady. It already has the sports centre.

Great thing is it's likely we have the option to expand if required, additionally if Liverpool ever hosted the Commonwealth games etc - I know who's stadium would get the fresh lick of an upgrade! Norway will still be landlocked!

Have I missed the stadium plans? Is there a link I can see?

Interestingly seems plans have been knocking around since the early 2000s.

If you believe KEIOC which I don't!

Yes I remember this.
This just about sums up BK doesn't it?...
"Unfortunately during one of these updates Bill informed John “the Tesco train to Kirkby is in the station” and all dialogue ceased."

How can anyone be confident that, if left up to them, they will deliver a stadium plan to be proud of...seriously

Yeah and you dismiss KEIOC!

KEIOC if you remember ran the clubs experts ragged at the Kirkby inquiry and introduced the WHP Sainsbury plan, which the club knocked back.

So roll this on five years and the club loves WHP.

Pity the club didnt listen, it would have saved them years and millions in cash. And you dont believe KEIOC!!!
