You really think Abramovich is going to finance Chelseas new ground or Levy fund Spurs?

No owner outside of Abu Dhabi can or would fund a new stadium out there own pocket. What the above scenario does is make us very attractive for future takeover/investment whilst having us move to a new 55-60k ground in which all revenue made from it is OURS. It's effectively a similiar deal to West Ham who hit the jackpot had they actually got a decent ground out of it
 
Hang on, so reading between the lines, are people now claiming that the funding will be coming from LCC / government departments, in the form of a secured loan?? If so where the hell are LCC going to find that sort of money?! Not saying it can't happen (it could work in LCC's favour if the repayment terms are generous in their favour over the term), but surely we're talking hundreds of millions for the whole development. Kopite. Heads. Floor.
