I want a bowl, the wind down at the water front might be a factor in the design

Is that a single huge home stand behind the goal on the right ? Impressive and hope we get something like that at Bramley Moore

Been expanded to 17,500 in the recent capacity increase that happened this month. Going to be ace, can't wait.17,000 apparently. Ace design

That'll be an amazing site. They trying to get the Dortmund thing going??

Just want to say that The Emirates and Wembley are naff... there's nothing about a bowl shaped stadium that inherently makes it naff. There's no special spell the shape casts on a stadium that sucks the atmosphere away.
Good stadiums have good atmosphere from thoughtful design, not the shape.

It won't be a very good sample. It's hard to design a stadium with as little thought for atmosphere as The Emirates.Going to the Emirates this Sunday so it will be good to sample an atmosphere in one of these new Bowl stadiums.
Mind you with Arsenal fans you get more atmosphere on the dark side of the moon so probably not the best place for that
That's the idea I think, it's the same height and angle as Dortmunds. Obviously the capacity lower because theirs is terraced though.

The Emirates has gaping holes in the roof which leak all of the sound, huge areas behind the goals before you get to the stands which suck away any home fan noise generation, a middle corporate tier that wraps around the entire ground which separates the bottom tier fans from the top tier and a shallower than necessary first tier. There are lots of differences. Is that the thinking behind the large stand ? To generate the hostile atmosphere as the new stadium does share a lot of the same Emirates characteristics apart from that
