Those images don't really mean anything at this stage. But they looked pretty good to me.

The images look a little bland to me. Same as most new stadiums, I'm not really surprised as these are supposed to be early stuff, before the consultation. I think I can see a bit of the Archibald Leech Criss Cross design on the external supports for the roof, which is a nice touch.

I'm still devastated about there being no retractable roof or pitch, maybe it's clouding my judgement, I'm sure it will be better than what we have

Building a football stadium isn't a straight forward thing. It's rather complicated and can't just be 'thrown up'.

"Thrown up"? Dan Meis has basically vomited a load of stadium cliches onto the screen there. It's not much more than a hockey stadium.

When I saw Spurs' for the first time I was impressed beyond belief. I'll leave it at that for now until I see Dan's final version.
I'm just saying going by these pics, I can't see anything 'unique and iconic'.
But again, it means little.

Would that include possibly an initial design we fans could comment on with possible changes?

I don't mate. I've tried really hard, but I see the outside of the O2 with that 'Evertonians' wave-thing in one image and then a, well, identikit not-quite-a-bowl-but-round-edges inner stadium layout.
