New Everton Stadium

Word for word i believe he said 'these are some really early ideas' about our stadium mate in the presentation video in Cincinnati.

Not very early designs, not anything but what came out of his mouth, not the final idea or anything, hell he could have been showing a very early concept which had it bowl shaped etc before it was subsequently altered for all we know.

REALLY it is far far too little information to wet our pants about mate
If it was THAT inconsequential and so far removed from what the reality will be, why release them?

It makes no sense to view this as anything other than the first rough draft of the design of the stadium. It's just denial to think otherwise.

You actually had the right response earlier when you stated that if this was a flier for his ideas (a chance for feedback before getting down to details) then this was a worthwhile exposure of his plans. However, it only becomes worthwhile if the feller is contacted and told it's not on, and the club for that matter.

This putative design today and the Anderson letter last week should have fans alarmed and contacting the club in their thousands to state categorically that what is apparently proposed it not what is wanted. The time is upon us to make that point VERY VERY CLEAR.

That's just desperate finger in the ears "la la la la la" stuff.

That image is a design...an early design, but nevertheless a design that he has allowed into the public domain. It wont be wildly far from the essential shape of the stadium, that is for sure.

Let me ask you this: from that release does it look remotely possible to you that we are looking at a Westfalenstadion type of stadium...which is what the majority I think would love to get? It looks a million miles from that to me.

Public domain? Some small forum in Cincinnati where he spends a grand total of about 5 seconds talking about everton is classed as the public domain? To make it even worse the whole thing looks like it was filmed with a potato!

Come on mate, if the final design is tosh then by all means vent...

The final design WILL be tosh if you and me and others dont get our skates on and bombard this club with feedback on this early glimpse of how they envisage the stadium.

Thought the stadium was all a load of talk and wouldn't be happening anyway? Surely you can't be this upset about something you don't think will happen and is all a load of rubbish?

Finger in ears?? no, not even close. Its called repeating what the architect has stated, word for word I may add.

And I'll repeat exactly incase you missed it

The design for Everton has not been exposed yet, these are some really early ideas

So, again, no this is not a DESIGN, it has not been placed in the public domain because it simply an idea, a mock up, a creative person being creative.

Since when did you speak for the match going fanbase?

It's not a proposal btw, it's a sketch. Yet more knee jerking over reaction, it's beyond dull.

This club learned some valuable lessons a few years ago with the whole badge fiasco, and that was pre-Moshiri as well. They have promised us consultation (which hasn't started yet to my knowledge) and would have to be monumental fools to go back on that.
