New Everton Stadium

There's nothing decided yet at Chelsea for the architecture of their financing. That's to be determined...in CONSULTATION with fans....the fans who also have in their corner a fan group who hold all the aces.

We have the hand picked poodles of the club's Everton Forum to *guide* our owners.

Stevie Wonder sees the difference in that but you dont.

Unreal...but please continue your Moshiri worship as he puts into place a scheme that will see him walk away with a massive profit and us saddled with a 40 year debt.
The Chelsea fans will have absolutely no say whatsoever in how Abramovich chooses to fund the new stadium build.

Where do you dream this stuff up from?

In fact the Chelsea pitch owners voted in favour of extending the current lease on the land to the Football club from it's current 180 years left to 999 earlier this year. As that makes the land as good as freehold from a funding perspective and will make Abramovich's task of borrowing the funds easier.

Well, he is definitely a Blue.
Reni from Kipper, AKA K2 or Kangaboy was definitely an Australian, Ute driving, size 13 clown shoe wearing half Samoan hunk of a man when in reality he was a cabbaged ear loser from Huddersfield using a picture of Craig Wing to blag us all. There'll be another forum somewhere were "Craig Wing" and Davek are sat off buzzing off us all.

Lol.

The fans at Chelsea dictate what happens.

Dont you get that?

The fans here have to put up with whatever Moshiri decides is appropriate...and he thinks its appropriate to leverage a £400M-£500M debt onto the club to be paid back over 40 years.

Just think about that.
So you think the fans have said, "No thanks Roman our benevolant owner, please don't dip into your own pocket to fund our stadium. We would much prefer to finance it privately and repay that debt over many years with interest please!". ??

I tend to disagree, I'd take it personally. I appreciate the frustrations people have with @davek sometimes but I think that's a bit strong.
Each to their own mate. I'm sure Dave has more pressing worries than a stranger calling him a kopite (as we all do). He's just a hard guy to understand, ever the pessimist!

They have to agree planning changes regarding the club's intentions on a stadium build on that footprint.

You dont think they have leverage?

Lol.

Chelsea Pitch Owners main aim is to ensure the club isn't taken advantage of by an owner who wants to develop the land for housing as nearly happened a couple of decades ago.

They're not going to be involved in the financial planning of the new stadium just as they weren't involved in its architectural planning, and nor will they veto any plans for a bigger stadium on the site.

The only question marks around CPO, as I understand it, are whether they'd be willing to sell their freehold to the club. It seems they're not but that's not because they have suspicions about Abramovich or his plans, but because they see themselves as much longer term custodians.

Whatever, this is a situation unique to Chelsea and they're not the only club in the world who've successfully built a new stadium (actually they haven't yet and it keeps getting delayed...diddums). So I don't know why EFC lacking an equivalent is relevent.

No they don't. They have to sign off the planning section relating to how much the new ground will benefit the local community, but don't let little things like facts get in the way of your latest wum.

Care to explain how they have any say whatsoever about the funding method now???

Here's the deal on Chelsea: they cant even go anywhere else and be called Chelsea without the permission of the CPO's say so. They are in thrall to them. CPO can guard against pretty much any scenario that crops up (including debts converted to capital) unless that club want to up-sticks and call themselves Putney FC or whatever.

Well if that is true he has spent an inordinate amount of time building his personae here ..... close to a decade at a guess.

Anyway, off topic
