New Everton Stadium

Exactly
Even an architect building a one off house will check with the council as to what will fly and what won't.
All the general do's and don'ts will have been discussed with the architects and the planning dept.
No point wasting months making plans and then be told
Not a hope in hell mate , go back to the states and start from scratch.

Think you're forgetting what club we support, mate. We have previous in this, and the idiots who were in charge of the projects still play an integral role at boardroom level.

Different man signing the cheques now.
Billly and Bob would have got a local architect who worked out of his extension to draw up the plans , Mosh got one of the leading world experts in stadium design to draw up this set of plans.
Mosh and his buddies have too much riding on this for it not to be done right.
I agree the club messed up in the past but Bill and Bob were and still are way out of their depth

Then why keep them around?

he has no choice, he's only allowed to buy 49% of the shares until the stadium is up and running, then there is an agreed buy up programme for the remaining shares, then he can get in who he really wants. Look on it that Bill was protecting the club's interests by making sure a stadium is build before he properly hands over control. Or just insert a conspiricy theory instead

Thanks for clearing that up
I didn't know about the caveat that Moshiri could only buy 49% of the shares until the stadium was built.
I was thinking someone else was lined up to buy the other 51% but what you say makes sense.
Surprised Bill thought of it really

Meis is not a leading world expert.
