My sentiments exactly. No way will Mr Moshiri settle for 50,000.

Mr Moshiri expects defeats against the Top 6 teams. Why would he make a stadium bigger than some of theirs?

Apparently the estimated cost of the above ground build soared by £13 over the initial £17 estimation.

That was due to currency fluctuations caused by Brexit , hopeful our stadium planners will factor in currency fluctuations into the costing

you both forget the 2 out of 3 rule.

Quality, Speed, Cost. If you prioritise any 1 or even 2 out of 3, the remainder might suffer

Speed - Cost might Increase and Quality may suffer.
Quality - might take Time and Cost you
Low Cost - it might take time and quality may suffer.

One reason its so expensive is cos Lego put a tiny box, say a single Star Wars figure, in a box that could almost double as a coffin for delivery.

No - it wasn't. The venture - irrespective of Commonwealth Games - nets the Council millions every year through the special purchase vehicle being used to buy the land. EFC will use the Council's ability to access cheap Prudential loan rates and EFC will pay the Council a hefty whack every year for the privilege. This will still work out cheaper than Everton trying to borrow the money themselves, and will leave the Council very much in profit. Everyone's a winner.

Commonwealth Games was a brucie bonus.
