New Everton Stadium

Oh dear, could turn nasty.

They are doing it in 1-8 stages which are decided by
Phase 1)
Season ticket holder of 10 years or more who has over 300 Loyalty Points for away games, which lucky enough for me I'm in. This will mean I get to pick any seat I want in the stadium. I guess there will only be a maximum of 3,000 people in this stage because a fair few people who are also in Phase 1 will wait for other mates in a lower phase (I know a fair few doing this.)

Phase 2)
Season ticket holders 10 years or more but with less Loyalty Points (I don't know the amount needed but you get my drift) and so on, etc etc.

Some have been complaining that to get a S/T in a stand that runs along the pitch (East or West stand) have to pay a lot more (think a minimum of £300 more?) and to now get one of the cheaper tickets you have to now go into a stand that is classed as behind the goal (but as the stadium wraps around some seats are on the side.) They are really unhappy but I knew all along this was gonna be happening.

Three good things Spurs have done.
Junior and OAP tickets (50% off) are now able to be bought in any part of the stadium instead of just the one stand behind the goal. They have also brought in a new category of concession tickets for 18-21 year olds (but I can't remember what the % of the reduction is?)
Good also that no matter where your seat is in the stadium you can walk around the concourse and meet mates for a beer in any one of the numerous bars where you can watch a live TV game before or after ours has finished.
I think years of being a S/T holder and the higher amount of Loyaty Points you have is the fairest way to get a choice (but then people could say I'm only saying that cos I have first choice) but I can't think of a fairer system to be honest.

Really excited about the new stadium and am looking forward to drinking in Europe's longest bar
Bet it will still take 15 minutes to get served

Cheers for the response. I know it's one of the many things WHU got wrong but sounds like that's been addressed in the main at NWHL. I'd like to think we will do the same and give priority to ST holders, letting them choose the equivalent stand etc.

Love the idea of the concourse being open, hope we get the same. Is there any checks in place do you know for returning to the bowl do you know?

Lendlease is in talks to build Everton’s £300m stadium at Bramley Moore Dock, Place North West understands.

Although the procurement process is yet to be finalised, the contractor is understood to be likely to land the scheme, which is expected to open in 2022. The club is hopeful of submitting a planning application for the scheme this year and to start on site in 2019.

Other bidders in contention are Sir Robert McAlpine and Laing O’Rourke. Gardiner & Theobald is the project manager for the development.

Bovis Lendlease was previously attached to a plan to move Everton’s stadium to King’s Dock more than 15 years ago, but these never materialised.

The latest plan for Bramley Moore Dock has been backed by Liverpool City Council and Mayor Joe Anderson. A deal to take over the site from Peel was agreed last year.

The club’s chief executive Robert Elstone admitted that costs for the project had increased significantly. Speaking in January, he said the club’s funding target had “escalated significantly” over the past year.

“The premium for the waterfront site, an ambitious capacity that we will test with more rigour, a design we can all be proud of and the simple but painful impact of inflation, have all contributed to an increased overall cost and a funding target which continues to grow.”

A deal for the land was agreed last November with Peel Land & Property. Everton has a 200-year lease on the waterfront site, which is conditional on the club gaining planning consent and securing funding for the stadium’s construction.

CBRE is advising Everton, and the consultant said it estimates that Bramley Moore will provide a £1bn boost to the local economy, with more than £255m spent through local supply chains during the construction phase.

Lendlease and Everton declined to comment.

Anyone else think providing the Liverpool Waters project starts to kick off that the new stadium will set us up for the future?

I dont know why but I feel whilst we may be gash now, in 5/10/15 years time we'll receive massive investment from this stadium move and will finally get back to where we belong. Make no mistake the biggest mistake the kopites ever did was stay in that backwater and not establish themselves as part of a massive regeneration project like this.
