New Everton Stadium

We would fill 60k once a season, maybe twice if we were doing ok.

Currently, of course if we got CL football that would change, but even then after UEFA has put their stupid drapes over the first 4 rows we would have a reduced cap anyway.

I personally would prefer something like 65k, but I doubt most weeks we would get more than 50k, The derby and maybe a few other high profile games would be 50k+, but most weeks I think 50k would be the norm, personally.

If they throw open the new stadium to a similar percentage of season ticket holders, I doubt there would be any seats left that haven't been sold in the first couple of seasons. (Whether people turn up to certain games is another thing)

I would try and get 2 for the first year definitely, then it would be if I'm hooked I'll keep going. I think many people will do this, if the capacity is in the low 50's then with the current and those on a waiting list for ST then I guess that won't be possible. Thus they'll miss out on a chance to get people like me. Fine lines involved but you get one chance to attract lots of new customers, what's the point in building pretty much just to current demand.

I get that, but theres a massive difference from selling a few 000s extra seats and selling an extra 25k EVERY week.

But as others have said, sensible pricing and success on the pitch would make it easier.

Think Elstones a total buffoon tbh, we will never get the funding with him as CEO, the man made a song and dance about 6m Chang deal when the other sides were getting 10mil plus, the deal with Kit bag is terrible, even the Sportpesa deals turned in to a farce with not 1 but 2 apologises of them. Our commercial demand needs a over haul starting with small time Elstone
Elstone represents a big sack that everything bad about the club is conveniently thrown into, with the expectation that once he's gone things will dramatically improve. While he's clearly been uninspiring I see him as someone who was tasked with managing decline...a decline orchestrated by others.

I honestly feel that Moshiri would run a mile away from appointing a powerful CEO to replace Elstone. The next feller in through the door will have more or less the same job description as Elstone. Moshiri will keep on appointing pushovers, as his predecessor Kenwright did.

Why would he pay in to our club then pay off the debt and the put money towards transfers, then get a CEO as useless as RE. If he here to make money as you claim. Then you get the best people you can, not the worse

Moshiri will hire somebody to be given the task of 'managing decline' ?
Too far even for you Dave lollol Do you even read what you write?

He's paid nothing on squad spending. The money he has invested on debt and shares will allow him to make a killing when a stadium is built. The CEO will be seen as a mere manager rather than mover and shaker because the commercial side of the club will always be stunted before a new stadium is built. So the CEO Moshiri wants is someone who can co-ordinate the day to day operation of the club and nothing else. He certainly doesn't want someone laying down plans to hit targets that are never likely to be met. - ask West Ham's owners what happens when you start promising stuff like that.

That's what his predecessor Kenwright did and he hasn't corrected that appointment. And despite Elstone's departure I suggest there will be no fundamental deviation from the policy of hiring patsies who just keep a plate spinning.

I assume you are basing this of your extensive knowledge in other "companies" USM have a holding in?

You know, all those companies that have grown into multi-billion pound powerhouses?

:coffee::coffee::coffee:

Im sure you wouldnt just be making wild assumptions based on nothing at all, that doesnt sound like you at all dave.

Once Moshiri attually takes over the club, I’m sure Kenwright and co will be moved on. That’s the thing we all forgot, he’s the major share holder not the owner

It baffles me how people can still be Anti-Mosh, we have spent a fortune off and on the pitch and are preparing to make a move into an iconic Waterfront Stadium that will be the envy of the world, but people wanna try and pick holes in a man who has made himself a VAST fortune by knowing how to run companies.

The growth in this instance will be achieved by the simple addition of a stadium paid for by others. Do you see any evidence this club can or will see commercial growth under Moshiri's steam without a new stadium? The deals cut so far have been in the same clueless vein as ths struck before he arrived.
