New Everton Stadium

It baffles me how people can still be Anti-Mosh, we have spent a fortune off and on the pitch and are preparing to make a move into an iconic Waterfront Stadium that will be the envy of the world, but people wanna try and pick holes in a man who has made himself a VAST fortune by knowing how to run companies.
Because the reality is this: we've sunk to an all time low under Moshiri in terms of the ratio of cash spent to results achieved, and the stadium is still an idea and nowhere near any significant point of development.

He's a carpet bagger who cant even get the PR stuff right...which makes him even worse than Kenwright was.

I still keep looking at that early season fixture list and wonder if we were proper stitched up. It was just as dodgy as the Villarreal CL draw. Just seemed incredible that Everton finally get some money that helps them be taken seriously and suddenly we are facing 4 of the top 6 before the middle of September.

You have to wonder sometimes if things are fixed against us. The crazy thing about this season is we where 7 minutes away from being top of the league with 6 points after 2 games, beating Stoke and almost beating City. It was the hardest start we had in a long time, don’t think the Europa league helped
Take the tin-foil off ya helmets, we had a hard start but come on now, we sold Lukaku and didn't replace him.

The growth in this instance will be achieved by the simple addition of a stadium paid for by others. Do you see any evidence this club can or will see commercial growth under Moshiri's steam without a new stadium? The deals cut so far have been in the same clueless vein as ths struck before he arrived.

Moshiri isnt involved in running the club Dave, hes off in Monaco making bank, hes thrown a wedge at us and told us to get on with it for now, once the old regime is removed im fairly sure you will see massive changes, none of which you will like, cos they will ALL benefit the football club and give you very little to moan about.

Cash spent to results achieved? Im sorry, when did we appoint him Manager?
PR stuff right? Sorry again, I thought he was a businessman not a Film Star.

Not replacing RL was a huge error and one of our own making, along with going with an ageing back 4. However, the fixtures were out of our hands. Incredible coincidence don't you think? The summer we finally have proper money to spend and lots of new players arriving !?!?

It was a difficult start to the season but by that logic the rest of the season should have been somewhat easier. I don't think it was a fix. I would prefer to have the majority of the games against top 6 clubs or whatever spaced out though I agree.

Funny, I remember that when Kenwright was in control everyone (rightly) saw him as the one the buck stopped with in terms of the overall direction of the club. Why are you creating excuses now for Sam Hammam MkII?

He doesnt have full control at all yet.

Im not even making excuses, what do I need to excuse?

Hes given us more money than anybody in our entire history, im only here to praise the fella and to correct the false claims.

Anybody who thinks we would have bought all those players last summer and the previous Jan without Moshiri either needs to visit the Funny Farm or has a deep rooted dislike for our major sharehoder. Without him, Lukaku and Barkley would still have left whilst we would have continued to shop in Lidl. Things might have been different, results may even have been better this season, but we wouldn't have spent all that money. We would also be staying at Goodison for the foreseeable future.

Moshiri doesn’t own or run Everton, he has his say but Kenwright is the chairmen and RE is the CEO and that won’t change till Moshiri but the share off Kenwright and Woods...(RE might be leaving for SL but we see)

There would be a huge mass of empty seats on a match day.

It would be all about how the stadium was managed and run and with a good team that actually knows about PR/Marketing ! Also like some stadiums the upper tier could be covered and not used depending on demand :-)

The stadium would also provide other money streams to the club in regard to say music concerts, used for other sports like rugby or Cricket? A good marketing team would try to attract for example England International out of London or try to get NFL game/WWE wrestling due to growing popularity?

A reasonable priced season ticket fee would hopefully say get 50,000 season ticket holders so with say 5000 commercial seats ( rough guess) and depending on away support as we should give a basic number that could be added or decreased depending on relationship with said clubs 10,000 so yjere alone is 65,000 seats/
If club set up one stand as the "family' syand where a family of 2 adults and 3 kids under age of 14 go free? the kids fill the seats and kids will demand sweets, soft drinks, burgers from parents so with good food supplier its increased revenue:-)
Same way with Everton in the Community we could donate tickets to charities and am sure media pr of us bringing for example elderly folks from retirement homes, ex service men/women, schools etc would also add to the charm of "The People's Club" who are there for the People

New stadiums attract walk in guests so thats where the team would target tourists to city, supporters clubs worldwide with fixed reasonable priced tickets :-)

50000 or 55000 stadium capacity is safe bet but Everton needs to stop the "poor little us punching above our weight" attitude Kenwright instilled in club :-(

Imagine us with a stadium that has 15000 or 20000 more capacity then Redshite what sign it paints in city? Who cares if its not full every week to capacity but a new stadium of 55000 or 60000 will increase revenue compared to Goodison and then imagine for a derby to wind them up we only give them 1000 seats and then put a 10000 safe zone between them and rest of stadium? The media fallout would be hillarious ;-)

Everyone will go on about funding now etc that we're struggling for 50000 stadium so why dream of 80000? ulk buying usually ends up cheaper in long run :-) I hope every year we'll win title even though no one rates our chances and as Everton we need to become the in your face look at what we are doing club :-) And a stadium bigger than our city rivals is the minimum to expect if we're going to be noticed :-)
