New Everton Stadium

I think it's realistic to want an experienced person who has been involved in large scale projects like this one, to project manage the development, reporting to the board member responsible Keith Harris (God help us).
Three directors for commerce in one shape or form, and you know they wont shift the dial in terms of performance commercially...pretty much because the stadium facility isn't in place...but they initially left out a stadium expert. There's an imbalance there that does not bode well.

Personally, I think the CEO is learning on the job. Moshiri hired her because he doesn't want a strong CEO who can contradict him. We pay for it with lots of weak appointments to jobs that look superfluous to where we are and our requirements as a club right now.

Such a lazy argument. He’s promoted a woman who’s widely regarded as having done a fantastic job since she joined the organisation and you label that as him wanting a weak CEO. It wouldn’t have mattered who he appointed and what strategy they unveiled, you’d still have searched for an angle to try and have a pop, it’s beyond tedious.

What is overdue is some form of status update in respect of the stadium. The first order of business for the new CEO looks to have been to appoint her leadership team, logical first step. Next step should be an update as to short and medium term plans to their customers, i.e. us lot. Think a strategic non football version of last weeks Marcel and Marco (M&M's?) press conference. It did what it was supposed to do and was well managed. More of the same please.

Mine is a valid argument but you lazily hide behind some lame charge of sexism to avoid it.

Noted.

Have you even looked at DBBs CV?

Its very impressive.

With every appointment made we should be asking: is this the best person we can get for this position?

If DBB is the best we can get, then I worry about us.

It is a boring, in-house appointment that prolongs our narrow-mindedness. Hopefully it is only for the interim before we get a proper CEO employed.

A Bachelor of Arts (BA or AB, from the Latin baccalaureus artium or artium baccalaureus) is a bachelor's degree awarded for an undergraduate course or program in either the liberal arts, sciences, or both. Bachelor of Arts programs generally take three to four years depending on the country, institution, and specific specializations, majors, or minors. The word baccalaureus (from the Latin bacca, a berry, and laureus, "of the bay laurel") should not be confused with baccalaureatus (translatable as "gold-plated scepter" by using the Latina bacum and aureatus), which refers to the one- to two-year postgraduate Bachelor of Arts with Honors degree (
Baccalaureatus in Artibus Cum Honore) in some countries.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration (management). The MBA degree originated in the United States in the early 20th century when the country industrialized and companies sought scientific approaches to management.[1] The core courses in an MBA program cover various areas of business such as accounting, applied statistics, business communication, business ethics, business law, finance, managerial economics, management, entrepreneurship, marketing and operations in a manner most relevant to management analysis and strategy.

Most programs also include elective courses and concentrations for further study in a particular area, for example accounting, finance, and marketing. MBA programs in the United States typically require completing about sixty credits, nearly twice the number of credits typically required for degrees that cover some of the same material such as the Master of Economics, Master of Finance, Master of Accountancy, Master of Science in Marketing and Master of Science in Management.

A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD or Ph.D.; Latin Philosophiae doctor) is the highest academic degree awarded by universities in most countries. PhDs are awarded for programs across the whole breadth of academic fields. The completion of a PhD is often a requirement for employment as a university professor, researcher, or scientist in many fields. Individuals who have earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree may, in most jurisdictions, use the title Doctor (often abbreviated "Dr") or, in non-English speaking countries, variants such as "Dr. Phil." with their name, and may use post-nominal letters such as "Ph.D.", "PhD" (depending on the awarding institute).
