New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Pointless ‘consulting’ on Stadium when they’ve no idea on design or capacity. Sounds like Meis is having to start from scratch, again.

Consultation isn't just for fan opinion its for locals to have their say on how it'll affect the area around BMD, on another point are you ever going to post in other threads, you only seemingly pop up to post about stadium matters, wonder why that is?

Too much negativity here, give the club and the bosses a chance. Projects like this are not overnight jobs, to but a dock and fill it in before on builds is a massive job.

Not sure exactly when but I do feel it will happen. In the little chat our CEO had the right word for this, a flagship site and an iconic place to play football. Our neighbours will be pig sick when it does come about.

Any ship and it's passengers and crew entering the Mersey will see a football stadium with the name Everton emblazoned on it.

It is unlikely that I, or Eggs, Joey will be around to see the our neighbours fade away in their red shed.

I'm not a doctor...as they say in all the Ads, nor am I a builder,
But I've seen more than a few big structures go up...and the first thing they do is dig a 'kin big hole - So why do they need to fill it?
Those big dock walls that keep out a billion tons of water aren't just sat on the muddy river bottom, they must be fixed to the sandstone shelf the whole City sits on (and a lot is built from)
So drain it, sift the mud for all sorts of archeological goodies that must be in there, then tank it.
But what do I know, I'm only an arl welder.

They have to keep the dock walls apparently

Like that, similarly what do I know. One thing though before draining it, they have to install a colossal barrier between BMD and the Sandon Half Tide Dock or obstruct access to the dock gates add to all that there is the Nelson Dock to consider.

Now, if we only had the money in place...….
