New Everton Stadium

Lets be honest. If they did you would still find something to gripe about. For one reason or another the BU is an enemy of yours for reasons only known to yourself. BK and Co have had plenty of time to come up with working options but they have failed yet you let your poison out on the BU.

That's just total bullshit.

You know its not. You have a problem with BU but not BK. Best to admit it and you will feel relief.

You see there's the chip on the BU shoulder. I've never mentioned Kenwright ive questioned the BU solutions.

You, clearly as a BU supporter, find it easier to liable people either pro Kenwright or anti BU without reading what they write. That's why you'll never get any recognition with mainstream Blues.

Well that's the reason I can't support the Blue Union. It always appeared to me to be nothing more than a group that's only purpose was to make sure we stay at Goodison.

What other alternative is there if the board cannot find the funds for a new stadium. Its an alternative and not making sure we stay at Goodison but probably the only alternative we have going by previous failings of the board

You are good at twisting things. Its OK for you to ridicule the BU but when challenged for your bullying of the BU you accuse BU of bullying. You seriously have a problem. You throw crap but can't take it back.

How is this going to be funded ?
TV money. We are getting something like an extra 25m a year so over the next 3 years that's 75m. With our squad being as young and competitive as it is it doesn't need a lot of further investment. We should be able to ploy the majority of that into a new stadium.

All we have to do is make sure we don't go crazy with wages and since that's the reason we've lost out on a few transfers this window it would stand to reason that might actually be the plan.

That wouldn't pay for it all but it certainly would be enough to allow us to then get the funding from other places.

I'm not knocking the people who have come up with these latest ideas, however an unfunded plan is no plan at all.

That is not, and I stress this point, BU's fault it is down to the Board to put the funding in place.

Everton's primary problem is the balance sheet. Solve the funding problem and we can move forward, be it a redeveloped Goodison or a brand new stadium elsewhere.

I've no idea what this is meant to mean? Twisting things? Ridicule?

I've stated that if the BU really want to help the club progress as the continally proffess they should embrace the idea of a free piece of land off the council and help design a new stadium for the best of future Evertonians.

Common sense says it easier, quicker and cheaper to develop an open plot of land instead of working with a structure that's limited in its parameters. It doesn't take a genius or expert to see that we've not got that land around goodison to build a stadium fit for not just the next 20 years but the 80 after that.

If the BU really want to encourage progression they should be offering alternatives to new plots of land and stadium design instead of flogging this dead horse. As it is they just try and beat down the club with any options they propose.
Because the only purpose the Blue Union has is keeping us at Goodison. That's more important than the success of the club.
