Id say a fair whack will be corporate facilitates myself, maybe 5k to be honest, that is where the real money is.

When it comes to 10k on a waiting list, it often doesnt always believe that 10k will take up the option, you be lucky to get 8 k there to be honest. A conversation rate need to be applied to figure of 10k and in these things there is usually a drop off, people can get ill, have babies, might be experiencing financial hardship etc. Essentially its one thing being on a waiting list, its another taking up the option when people have to hand over money.

What about the naturaral increase every club automatically gets when moving to a new ground also?

If there is you would be optimistic in thinking an increase of 14k would cover the spread.

Thinking about it more it’s quite smart to be cautious. Fill the 52k consistently for 5 or so years and then expand if the need is there.

Most important part is the new stadium itself.

That's how I read it as well, I think the safe standing will come in, the last I read about it the premier league were going to take a vote on it, Spurs have it earmarked for their new stadium as well

I hope they rethink this over the summer and get it to 55k, under promise and over deliver.

12k extra is hardly screaming ambition. But that said if they have factored in being able to easily extend it without having to demolish large parts of it then I'm a lot happier than I would have been if they hadn't.

I think safe standing works on the same basis as having a seat.

What they do is they have specialized seating that can be converted into a barrier in an area where people want to stand, but works on the same basis and attendance of having a seat.

Its not like it was in the 80s with everyone just milling into a terrace, you stand at your seat.

No I think it’ll go ahead. There’s already serious pedestrian improvements underway there, and why else with that be?

I've openly admit that I've always been an advocate of a sensible size that follows the principle of quality balanced quantity, rather than simply the latter.

However, I am somewhat underwhelmed by the 52k mark as it's the lower end of the fifty mark (which I've claimed for) and sit us in eighth if you include Spurs.

A few more thousand would mean we'd be competing with City which would be a sign of ambition and a nice capacity, while you'd hope still a sensible price.

Its pretty easy to do if the market is proven to be there and there is money to be made, that will be the ultimate motivation.

I think we should call this as it is, the club arent confident that we will fill a 60k stadium week in, week out initially, to be honest they are probably right.
