I saw the Anfield redevelopment plans earlier, I must say I thought it looked rather good.

It's a mighty shame that upgrading Goodison isn't really a viable option.

I often think that if I suddenly became a billionaire overnight, and obviously bought Everton the next day, I'd redevelop Goodison, but I'd have to buy up a lot of the streets surrounding the ground first. Liverpool have taken the better part of 15 to 20 years to get to the position they are in now, buying up streets to get the necessary land.

Personally I don't think we should be building on any park land, and if we did, it would most definitely include some mitigation, maybe by turning the footprint of GP into a public green space. Any move away and id imagine the club would want to be building housing there.

I'd rather have a facelift to the good ole goodison and have a 100million to spend on players...

Clarence Dock would be good, close to the city centre, taking advantage of the waterfront. Could be Kings Dock 2!

As long as Boys Pen Billy has anything to do with it, the potential for a Kings Dock 2 is certainly there!

Lets face it, it's highly unlikely that this board will deliver a re-developed Goodison or a new ground. It's okay discussing sites but when it comes to paying for it the money just won't be there. It's very convenient that were suddenly looking at sites at the same time Liverpool announce their ground expansion, what have the board been doing in relation to this process for the last 4 years since the Kirkby scheme collapsed?

A Liverpool council spokesman said: "Our priority now is to look as quickly as possible at the available options for the redevelopment of Stonebridge Cross and find the best way forward for the community.

"Our door is always open to Everton FC and an investor or partner.

Even an unnamed Liverpool council spokesperson knows we could not do a move without a partner.
