The location is amazing and will always be the number 1 asset, but this is not in anyway a standard stadium, unfortunately there are only so many building products that can be used, and the pitch is always going to be rectangular, so much thought has gone into it, that theoretically you can remove the stadium one day, and BMD could be reinstated to its current state..

The overall shape impresses me most, it's not like any other stadium I have seen. Not rectangle,bowl or circle,unique.

Logged back on just to say thanks for posting these. They are absolutely superb. 2nd image gives you a real sense of how steep the upper tier of the main stand is.

It really doesn't smell more often than not. I worked down that way for years and never noticed it. Its a state of the art WWTW it's not really supposed to smell.
Cargills further down though...that place stinks.
