New Everton Stadium

The Esk should not be the subject of a witch-hunt. It's beyond reasonable the character assassination he's receiving. The feller wants what all the rest of us want for Everton.

Dave, never ever try and stop being the controversial figure in obvious situations.

It makes you happy.

Not disagreeing in the slightest with those on here criticising Esk for excessive negativity, not knowing when to shut up & having a big ego. He’s clearly stuck in a rut with his Everton analysis and alienating many who sympathise with his concerns. However, a fair few of us know him somewhat in real life (he helped found this place after all). He isn't just some crank with a keyboard but a bloke who went from humble scouse roots to being worth tens of millions with homes in New England & the South of France. He has forgotten more about business than most of his critics have ever known.

On the stadium I am delighted for Meis that his design has been well received. He has genuinely tried to engage, understand and deliver in keeping with our traditions. He deserves huge credit.

I also think all but the most cynical must acknowledge that this is a genuine, already costly and very determined push from Moshiri to finally deliver what we have needed for 25+ years. The ‘fraud’ shouts ignore reality. He has not always spent wisely but he is clearly committed to making this work.

The site choice offers huge benefits but also massive challenges so the project is complex, costly, difficult. In my opinion it still needs more work on capacity, premium seating/services (there has to be a few more Bentley elements to drive revenue) and, crucially, transport - the transport ‘plan’ matches Johnson’s no-deal plan in lack of detail and inadequacy.

Neither planning nor fund-raising will be simple or painless but I think progress so far means it will happen providing Moshiri starts safe and well. Excitement is justified but so is caution until we are taking our seats for the opening game.

Did he tell you about the tens of millions he's worth?

How is it being controversial to mak an appeal for a handful on a forum who are out to wreck the dredibility of another Evertoninan? I'd say that was the very opposite of controversial.

When you chat wham for years yes it is, when you're proven wrong, chase controversy trying to get thousands of fans against the most promising and forward thinking board it is.

Dredibility or credibility? Dave you're a hooping oddball constantly wrecking the credibility of DBB, Moshiri and Brands over nothing but poorly educated guesses. You're a virus to this support like him. You're both after internet attention and I'll constantly and gladly fight or prove you both wrong over the facts you think you know.

You gotta laugh at the self importance of the man.
He think not releasing his sketch prior to yesterday was going to break some form of NDA or something..
Looks like a plonker now releasing it.

Money can't buy class eh.

His place in London is probably worth north of £20m.

True that, received this a long, long time ago
