New Everton Stadium

The lower part will be less steep. No idea about the upper part though, on the app it doesn't look like a significant difference between the two...
Here’s one with the safe standing taken into consideration and both have max rakegive or take 1 degree

How much of this stadium has sucked the attention of the upper management away from the playing performance?

I suggest that a new stadium with a premier league team is a bigger deal to Moshiri (and Usmanov) than if we're 4th or 14th.

As long as we're not in the bottom 3, then why worry? Was the performance of Silva and his eventual sacking the wake up call to re-focus on the playing side with getting in Ancelotti? Is the pathetic derby just gone, whilst a debacle, a necessary evil if it focuses attention on what is happening in the first team? I hope it is and that it is a blessing in disguise.

Should have started the plans for Bramley Moore instead of Calvert Lewin.

They would have done a better job than Siggy an all.

Can anyone provide further information regarding the potential increase in capacity through safe standing?

I’m assuming that the dimensions for a rail seat will be smaller than that of a non-rail seat in the stadium, possibly the narrowest dimensions allowable.

If that were the case BFS would still be the manager.

Pretty sure it'll be a 1:1 ratio so basically no increase

I think Everton are building the standing sections at more than a 1:1 ratio.

They won't be building the standing part of the stadium with unrealistic ratios in mind. A normal width row should just about allow two to stand for every seat which is the maximum that would ever be legalised (Prob 1.2 to 1.5 more realistic).

All they have to do is ensure the exits can accommodate that many people and there is space in the concourse to add the toilets if required. I think I read that we aren't even installing rail seating to start with, so you can gauge from that how keen they are about it all.

From the diagram above it could well be that they are wanting to wait until after standing has been passed and then they'll re-profile the stand so the rows are divided into two. Can't see those being rail seats with 350mm of leg room though which means standing will have to be allowed in internationals and European fixtures before they go down that route and there aren't any guarantees there.
