Someone over at Skyscrapercity has posted these

North and south upper tiers look cramped for concourse space.

There will be loads of independent bars etc that will open up in the next few years in the ten streets area across the road for people to make use of on match days.

Been looking through the Goodison Legacy project pages (Social Value of Relocation Appendix) the club definitely look to be working in the right direction here, hope they get it right and leave a positive legacy, that contributes socially and economically to the area

Im sure I read on the Liverpool Waters site that the plan was a marina and residential/retail on Nelson Dock but dont know if thats since changed.

Would make more sense to have a marina & fancy bars / wethers / slug and lettuce and a few food places for fans.

That's what it will be I would guess, apartment blocks with the ground floor as restaurants, bars etc. Which will make a beeline there due to all the footfall they are going to get.

I don't think that south upper looks cramped, you can see it in the promo that they released and it looks plenty big enough. The north upper is small, there is no getting around it, however there isn't exactly a lot of people up there.

Looking at the overhead floorplans, it really is massively weighted to the West Stand. A skinny (although beautifully efficient stadium) with a warehouse on one side containing nearly everything. Certainly unique.

Also, flicking through, I see you're only applying for "four major, non-football events at full capacity". I'm going to bet there's a future planning app seeking to up this number. Ease this one through with as few objections as possible, then try and get more later.

Are they going to be cashless like the Spurs stadium? Fill up a pint in 8 seconds or whatever it is. Be mint that, no more 20 minute queues for a beer. I mean I don't need to wait anyway cos I watch it from the safety of my living room, but great for match-going punters! Hopefully they steer clear of that disgusting Carling they have at the moment (I think).

Key I suppose is how they will use the space they do have. Need as few obstacles in those areas as possible with efficient facilities.
