Just to stand everything on it's head now, who are the other partners in this deal (social housing retail etc) and if known have they come out and said that their funds and plans are in place?

Liverpool Mutual Homes were supposed to be the partners, but little has been mentioned in the last few months as to their involvement.

Searched Walton Hall Park on their site and found nothing, or is that what lead you to say supposed.
In all honesty, no new owner, no new stadium or redevelopment.

I imagine if the new owners had a pot to piss in and weren't intent on getting the taxpayer to lose our green space, AND fund the new stadium then LCC might find them a site to build the stadium, yes.

With the big boom in football money, we need to get this sorted. We cannot carry on like this, we have to move on with the times, even the rs have started the expansion as they were struggling with a new ground. If the board can't do it then please sell to Someone who got the will and the ambition and money
