Well I knew of 2 people that thought swimming in the Mersey was a good idea, neither had a good outcome.
I'm going for the dock, they'll be able to get someone out of that

I attended numerous meetings during my working life and found probably less than 1% of them productive. I have always hated them and found them monotonous, but christ on a bike these video meetings are mind numbingly bad.
Thank god I retired when I did.
As many as 1% ‐ you wanna see school meetings.I attended numerous meetings during my working life and found probably less than 1% of them productive. I have always hated them and found them monotonous, but christ on a bike these video meetings are mind numbingly bad.

It's not stopped them round where my mum lives about 15 mins away from me. Loads of bats and deer and other wildlife round there (it's countryside) and they have just got permission for 12,000 new houses over the next 10 years plus a medical centre and new school and shops and a bridge over the train tracks and various other things. It's going to rip a huge piece of green belt land to bits.Cracks me up this. Can't build a stadium there because there's a few bats whizzing round a derelict smelly mess. Tricia O'Brien is a good laugh, enjoying how she feels the need to practically eat the mic whenever she speaks.
....this takes me back to pre-retirement & being grilled via video links to Politicians and Project Steering Committees. Everton appear to have done their homework & built a robust Business Case and Benefits Realisation package.
it might seem that nothing has been going on but the Club have clearly worked tirelessly to ensure they are able to meet challenges such as this. Reaping the rewards of doing their homework, being on top of their brief and meeting any questions head on.
In fairness I did say "probably LESS than 1%" . . . and I was still guilty of over estimating. lolAs many as 1% ‐ you wanna see school meetings.
