And basically illegal..They are everywhere in town
Legal to own and buy but against the law to ride on roads and pavements. Might as well just ban them completely.

That's the point, I don't think there are any seats below ground level. The height of the stadium was already lowered, surely losing the seats below ground would mean an even smaller capacity.
I long for the old days of classic GoT spurious links to pictures of two donkeys sh4ggingSpending my break reading about corporate parking and exhaust ducts. Fantastic stuff.
Down in Portsmouth (everybody and their uncle seems to ride one there regardless of age) they seem to have some sort scheme where in various spots there are these racks with like 6 scooters and there is an app (isn't there always) and i presume you get some sort of code and it unlocks the scooter and you can use it and just return it to another rack when finished. And basically illegal..

The Mersey Brown Trout...
In Liverpool they're not on racks and you can leave them wherever you want, with some incentive to leave them in prominent locations to increase usage. Rare but very aggressive when disturbed.
You know where I can catch myself one of these mate? ♡
Popworld? It’s what you’d catch after that you should be worried about.
There are paid ones all round town that anyone with a phone can ride on, so dangerousAnd basically illegal..

There are lots of examples of stadia with underground parking, I assume they use a combination of natural and forced draft ventilation similar to roll on roll off ferries for instance. I haven't checked all of the latest revision drawings of BMD but would assume that at least one stand will have an element of this for directors/team/staff/corporates to use. These may be still at (or near) ground level on the western stand where the new stairs seem to project over the parking area so I don't think it's a massive issue.
There are stadiums with underground parking, yes, but none with the same constraints that we have at BMD. Ferries have an entire back end that they open and force as much air out of as possible as quickly as they like. Very different to an access/egress that woudl be relatively small in comparison to the space it serves, unless a chunk of the fan plaza made way for it.
Natural vent would never be enough, and forced ventilation wouldn't be enough through one point of exhaust.
Anyway. There's no Underground car park, and we're all the better for it, cause the extra cars would have been a nightmare. I much prefer the approach of closing the dock road and having 1 way traffic off Gt Howard street to the ground, to drop off vulnerable or disabled individuals.
There will almost certainly be a covered car park on the west stand with the same access route as would've been required for a larger one regardless most people parking inside stadia are usually required to wait a minimum for 1 hr afterwards before leaving. Most of those are enjoying lounge hospitality packages, so that isn't an issue.
I've worked on several car ferries and car carriers which is why I mentioned them. Usually the ventilation of entire car decks can be readily achieved by just a few supply/extraction fans that can comfortably remove toxic gases (not all have bow and stern doors), but similar natural ventilation could be readily achieved at a stadium as is the case at the proposed Feyenoord stadium for instance that has car parking under the stands while also on a waterfront with some land reclamation and limited access. Whether it is "better for it" or not will depend on whether a few thousand high-paying corporates are accommodated effectively or not, but the fact that so many stadia have them shows that ventilation is not a great concern.
