New Everton Stadium

A few titbits I've been hearing.

Everton party that met with LCC about Stonebridge Cross included that new board member - Ranatysev or whatever his name is - and it was before he was announced as a Director. Moshiri clearly making stadium a priority from the off.
Ball still firmly in Everton's court in terms of returning with formal proposals and proof of funding.

Still no idea whether any other sites are being looked at, but person I've spoke to scoffed completely at any notion of waterfront or Stanley Park - although interestingly didn't poo-pooh the idea of redeveloping Goodison.

Council still considering when best to announce WHP as being off. Could possible be before the election, but Richard Kemp's little protest at the park would now mean any such announcement would look like a political victory for him, rather than a vote winner for Labour, so may be put off.
Thanks for the info. Hope your contact is wrong about locations, but on the mark that Goodison redevelopment is seriously looked at ;)

Hate to pish on your chips mate , but as of late yesterday afternoon I was informed the club are looking at 3 different options.
Specifically Stonebridge is not under consideration and Walton Hall Park is very much on the agenda , there were actually 6 sites identified.
I havent a clue who gives you the info but this is from someone who I obviously cannot name. Ps redevelopment aint happening either.

What were the other two sites you heard about mate?
If you can't name them specifically a rough idea of the area would be great... ;)
