Really don't see a need to be hung up on the capacity anymore. It's 52,888. It is what it is. Accept it, move on, enjoy the build process.

I would say it would have made sense having it around 55k as it would be good commercially to have an extra 2k or so seats for your walk in punter / student / visitor to the city.

Whilst that wont dilute the atmosphere it will put some extra coffers into the accounts and also be good for those who cant afford a season ticket / live further away but wants to get down to the occasional game.

Not necessarily importing from Russia. I am sure USM must supply elsewhere. Besides which I doubt the steel itself puts a massive dent in the final bill. Labour costs will smother that

Yes. Though he’s probably not wrong to be honest. Finding funding for this sort of project is unlikely to be a problem. The level of risk is low, and there’s plenty of security for lenders should things go south.

I think that when this stadium is finished, there could be huge interest in tickets from visitors to the city for breaks and weekends.
Equally you could see large number visiting the hospitality areas around the ground without going to the game

The near city centre location will I feel generate huge earnings potential.
