Wouldnt be surprised if the constructors did them as a standard thing for big jobs.

The main contractor would usually set up 2/3 cameras to do time lapse photos, relatively cheap content for future marketing.

And I go (went) to the games in recent years when I could get a ticket handed to me...and I certainly wouldn't go now because of Covid19 and I'd advise anyone else not to attend games either because they're mugs gambling with their own health. I hope that's a full enough answer for you.

I used to work on a site right next to the new US Embassy in London. The marketing department of my company (developer) decided it would be a good idea to fly a huge drone over the site to take some photos and videos. It caused a bit of a panic and it was almost shot out of the sky by the guards outside the US Embassy armed with assault rifles.

Long story short
We were on holiday on Coronado island in San Diego
Half the island is a major US navy base and half is public / private land
This lad was flying a drone on the beach and was told twice by lifeguards that he couldn’t
He ignored them
Next a jeep pulls up with 4 marines in it
One gets out shoots the drone out of the sky and then they all drive off
The lifeguard told the shocked owner
I told you so
