Walked past the site yesterday and some scamp has painted 1995 in 6ft high letters on the Side of the building overlooking the dock, bar steward. Bigger site than you think from the pics though

It’s really getting to them. Whilst over at cult central they’re just putting another tier onto that cake.Walked past the site yesterday and some scamp has painted 1995 in 6ft high letters on the Side of the building overlooking the dock, bar steward. Bigger site than you think from the pics though
It is history, cannot be changed. Different times then and different attitudes.Yes. That's true enough. But the slave trade is especially connected to Liverpool, and docks like that one in particular which traded in the product of Brazilian slave labour.
Anfield is a hideous mess, and always will be. A poor man’s Old Trafford. It’s really getting to them. Whilst over at cult central they’re just putting another tier onto that cake.
No it wouldn't have happened if it was being built 5 years ago.... Why now?Do you not think its a good thing for the club to recognise the history of the area?
It's pandering nothing more, if it was being built 10 years ago nothing would have been said....that dock will be Everton's home and the club want to basically consecrate the ground by denouncing slavery, colonialism and racism.
That's fine by me.
Why does this exercise your mind so much? Where's the controversy?
Why wouldn't it? And what's wrong with it even if it is now? What have you got against denouncing slavery, colonialism and racism? No it wouldn't have happened if it was being built 5 years ago.... Why now?

Pandering to whom exactly? It's pandering nothing more, if it was being built 10 years ago nothing would have been said.

It has nothing to do with the club...or the stadium. Why wouldn't it have been recognised 5 years ago?
Why exactly don't you want Everton to recognise the history of a dock and how the docks and the club are intertwined in the history of the city. Do you think they should just leave that bit blank?
Are you from the city?It has nothing to do with the club...or the stadium.
Yes does this have a point? Are you from the city?
You might wanna start learning a bit about it thenYes does this have a point?
It has nothing to do with the club.. I've already said this. You might wanna start learning a bit about it then
