New Everton Stadium

...amazing when you look at the Pathe news clip of Dixie and see the famous criss-cross on the Bullens Rd stand. They've witnessed some history those old stands but I suppose times change.

the architect was apparently inspired by the famous lattice-work on the crust of Greggs famous "festive bake"
 

Shareholders general meeting tonight where Elstone will be speaking and revealing that the club are in talks with about talks about 'exciting' ideas about 'possible' new stadium delivery developments that involve 'a number of parties' which are 'ongoing' and though nothing can be firmly announced at the moment he is 'absolutely committed' to exploring all avenues regarding partners and funding for a new stadium.

In other words, nothing will happen today.
