Think it’s anticipated to be a marginally higher ratio should it be permitted, but I thought the bulk of the potential 10k extra seats involved expanding the stadium anyway.

The seating/standing arrangement will allow extra spectators, and the concourses have been sized for a greater capacity than the 52k seated spectators.

The facilities can service more than we can seat. That tells me that we can expect more than a 1:1 ratio for standing.

Even so such a ratio will in all probability take many years of 1:1 standing before it is sanctioned.

The safe standing trial approved by the government actually creates a <1:1 ratio in most stadia. There is no prospect of parliament approving > 1:1 in the foreseeable future. Do not hold your breath on this one as it may take a couple of trouble free decades to shift the legislative and police mood on this.
