Keep that rate of progress up and we move in in 2724-25 season. 8-9 months into a 3 year build and we are at 0.1% progress. Sorry I missed out the literally.
So let’s assume a 33 month build with the remaining 3 months largely for commissioning, then we should be 25-30% through, admittedly not always exactly linear but near enough. If you don’t understand construction and planning maybe best not to comment.

I'd like hope if its not built on time i'll be alive when it is finally ready.

I am not convicned my body will last another 70 years, or even 7, nevermind 700.

Same here. Whether it’s gets completed is another matter but it’s a hell of an investment already made to just give up. I also note Moshiri’s worth increased significantly in the last couple of years

It's just a matter of time before Moshiri's USM / Usmanov connections are flagged up in a bigger way than they have been thus far.

He may be keeping his head down but there'll be no banks or financial institutions willing to loan hundreds of millions on the strength of his wealth...and neither would Moshiri want to place himself in the postion as guarantor.

The Usmanov/Moshiri route to financing a new stadium is over.

And so it should be, if me sitting in a brand new stadium watching my team play is funded on the destruction of schools, homes and hospitals in Eastern Europe then I'd rather stick at Goodison thanks.
 
Is staying at goodison still an option? I mean how far down the line we're all the contracts? Have we signed anything to say goodison will be handed over in 2-3 years?

I think best case scenario is we stay at goodison. Fans take over the club, we likely get relegated due to serious debt and in 10-15 years an owner with money like moshiri/usmanov comes back and gives us hope of one day being in the prem again.

It's not funded by that though is it? It'd be funded by western banks who have all kinds of ties to western regimes who butchered people all over the middle east - 1 million dead in the Iraq war alone.

If you're looking for a pristine investment it cant be had. If you're not looking for investment for Everton you're going to be watching a football club tumble through the divisions. Quickly.
