I do hope so.
But the loss of USM income surely makes the financing harder?
If it doesn’t get built, how much longer can the club realistically stay where it is?

But we’ve only lost 15mil a season apparently from usm. We can find other sponsors.

If usmanov and usm where going to pump in 150mil when it’s built on naming rights then that’s obviously a loss. Again we can get other naming rights, but may struggle to get as good as that deal. But it’s pure guess work. Ifs, buts and maybes

His wealth went up recently considerably, despite what he put into Everton FC. If the stadium wasn’t getting built anymore it would be a bit stupid to be carrying on building it now.

Also the fact is despite what anybody says on here, nobody actually knows where things stand for the funding of the stadium. It’s pretty much all guess work and nothing more. Yeah and you have those with a friend of a friend, of a friend, who knows somebody, who knows somebody else that is directly involved, whatever.

According to Forbes he's worth $2.8 Billion .
So ye he does have that much cash.

He could buy it outright if he wanted to , but he's a money maker so it will be serviced elsewhere.

He doesn’t own the Liver building outright and apparently the decision to sell was made in 2021. From what I have read Everton will not be leaving after the sale. I think you’re making wide of the mark assumption’s here.

I`m not sure Moshiri or Everton is connected in any way. Usmanov is not and has never been part of Everton, just our sponsors, Moshiri has resigned from the boards of the companies linked to Russia.

And at the same time is selling assets. Surely you can see my concern? Mosihiri and Usmanov’s fortunes have gone hand in hand for a couple of decades. It’s not outrageous to be worried that Usmanov’s travails might also affect Moshito surely?
