New Everton Stadium

In my opinion football clubs miss a trick. They charge too much. I haven't been this season but take a sausage roll or a bar of chocolate, they'd be at least double the cost if not more you'd pay in shops. I always think if the price is reasonable the people will buy, and if more people buy then you sell more = same turnover
as high prices. I also think the same for ticket prices, at BMD. Because 60,000 would enable lower ticket prices. To get the same match day income
at 53000 prices will be higher..
Yup. There’s a relevant example on that in the States with the Atlanta stadium. The ownership decided to dramatically cut the prices of food and drinks. Good food at reasonable prices—owner makes more money and the fans are much happier

Unless I am mistaken, I think there already is a wall between the dock and the sewage works, isn't there? Seems to be on Google Earth. Not as high as the dock wall, obviously.

Will have a check.
None of the drone vids seem to pick it up if that's the case. I'd hope they build a higher wall as sort of enclose the area / mask the sewage works from one side. Far from the most important aspect of the site, but its not the most aesthetically pleasing to look at; my hope was the club were looking to replicate the Dock wall as a diving wall.

They built a new inlet from the main sewer which is about 30 foot underground and contained in a building. All of the primary tanks and sludge storage tanks are odour controlled. I was at the site in January and it didn’t smell at all from anywhere on the site or down the dock road.
I thought they put odour control on.

People still seem to be mentioning smells. They must be coming from elsewhere?

If the inlet building roller shutter door is left open then odours will escape, but the idea is to keep it contained.
It will get far more attention when the ground opens. They will have to be operating it properly or there will be a lot of difficultvquestions and another big project!

Looks about 8-10ft tall

Just been watching some vids about the stadium build. Unbelievable engineering going on. But you know with it being us that when finished the stadium is going to collapse into the dock.

Is that no temporary for construction - if so yeah I've seen just thought it was construction related :)

It's a tedious topic given we've a new ground like, but it was something I'd been wanting to know for a while [as the thread took a turn for smells, seemed as good tike to ask]. All the clubs promotional stuff for the ground aren't shy from shirking images / clips from the sewage side down towards the Liver Buildings.

Anyhow, if that's the wall, we do need Trump to beef it up and make it more fitting of the ground / area.
