Moshiri has covered all costs so far and contractors will happily continue while he coughs up. We were told pretty much right from the beginning that he would be funding a proportion and the rest would be covered by a loan(s) and naming rights.
We still haven’t secured that loan deal and the prime candidate for naming rights has just had his yacht impounded and had sanctions imposed. He may still have enough readies stashed to help his pal fund it till it's complete or the war blows over or whichever comes first. Moshiri may well be able to fund it all, but we have no real idea what the financial implications will be for the club going forward. The Loan deal was probably very much dependent on us staying up..... perhaps that process has resumed in earnest again. I suppose even a part built stadium might form a more attractive package for sale if he wants to cut his losses.
