You serious mate ?I wouldn't be too concerned with the funding, question comes down to whether Usmanov wants to see his investment go down the drain. They either finish the stadium and recoup the money or they sell on for less with a commitment for the buyer to build stadium. If they stop the build due to lack of funds then the only buyers will be vultures looking to pick off the carcass as everyone will know we're up crap creek.
My point about expanding the North stand is one for the future after the stadium is built anyhow, as technically it can be done without removing the roof etc. rather than trying to build onto the west/east stand, making it far more costly and alter the clean look of the continuous roof we will have.
You could be made to collide with every door frame,on the way in and out. There was a similar message in the old Cheapside Bridewell. Coincidently, the UN reported it was more akin to a concentration camp than a bridewell.
You honestly see tens of thousands hanging around the stadium after the final whistle?
Sounds fanciful.Yes. But not hanging around. Drinking and eating in the first class facilities we will have at BMD whilst watching the highlights of that day's match or the live 5.30pm game on a Saturday, for example.
Not sure about the exact length of the entrance that'll be carved out of the wall (which will take the bulk of access/egress), but the club stated in its design and access document (pt1):If the club keeps several concourse bars open and shows other matches, how many will stick around? 1k? 2? More?
How many will leave before Full time? Like what happens today, 5k?
You're talking like every one in the ground will arrive at the Regent Road exit at the same time. They won't.
Those in the west stand (lower) are 5 mins away, upper, longer.
How wide are those gates at the entrance? I'll bet they're not much narrower than the streets running off Goodison Road when you factor in the parked cars.
If after a couple of games it's a problem they'll open safe walkways around both ends of Nelson Dock to people can join Regent Road further down.
Don't write it off as a bad job because you don't like the look of it. Professionals who study flow dynamics and such like will have had an input.
I could buy you a first class ticket to LA and you'd complain about the cheese and wine selection on the flight.
Cheer up
Yes, Dave. And that sea change is essentially moving from a decrepit Goodison Park to a wonderful 21st century new home at Bramley-Moore.Sounds fanciful.
Everton's support would have to go through a sea change in culture.
50,000 people emtying out of there will have one thiught: let's GTF home...especially if there's a reversal.
It doesn't say:"For the required openings in the Regent Road wall, this means creating the smallest openings possible to still provide safe access to and from the site."
There is always the shortcutNot sure about the exact length of the entrance that'll be carved out of the wall (which will take the bulk of access/egress), but the club stated in its design and access document (pt1):
"For the required openings in the Regent Road wall, this means creating the smallest openings possible to still provide safe access to and from the site."
McIntyre is a silver-tongued fox aint he...In many ways i am starting to like the wall better than the inside of the stadium
You serious mate ?
Usmanov is subject to sanctions that prevent him conducting 'business as normal' and as such, he's highly unlikely to be able to feed Moshiri with further funds, if indeed that's been the way BMD has been funded to this point.
