New Everton Stadium

Thanks for posting. That is definitely the images of the stadium we're getting, not the earlier version? Also, would someone please explain the C number thing for sightlines, please. Thanks.
Yes, definitely the current version.
The below shows the 'C' value. Not sure how it's specifically calculated, just that it's a measurement of pitch visibility.

I keep saying it but there's no grasping the actual scale of the build until you're stood there looking at it.
The thing is huge already and will get bigger.
It's my favourite thing Everton atm.
I thought the shipping containers were quite good in helping with the scale. I know how big they are and that it takes a single HGV to transport one of them yet they look tiny in the middle of the pitch!

Yep.
It's about 29m from Ground Level to the top of the stands. The roof structure adds another 16m on top of this so over half the height again!!

It's 80 feet from the top of the 4 access blocks in the corner to the top of the roof. And 52 feet from the highest seat to the highest point of the roof, for those of you watching in black and white.

Good choice. Otis Redding Sitting in the dock of the bay is another one we should be hearing at BMD before kick off. Is it me or is the music they play at GP absolute garbage? Worse still it's deafening.

Any other river or dock related tunes we should hope to hear through the tannoys?
Do you remember when they used to play 'Crazy chick' by Charlotte Church
e-v-e-r-y half time? Lord help me, I hated that song my son.

God bless.

I do wonder how they will do seating into the new stadium.

With only 2 years to go you would hope they are preparing it, would like to see some sort of plan very soon, really wanna keep "my seat" going forward.
I've thought about this a few times - it's important they get it correct. My uncle, sadly a RS ST holder, has previous mentioned how they messed up a similar move.

When the Kemlyn Road and Kop were redeveloped, they had the opportunity to select who to sit with and it all went a bit Pete Tong.
