North stand with video screen.View from South east corner

What I meant by height of the north stand was the back row seats not the roof.
The height of the back row seats was always going to be the same on the north stand in a 60k+ stadium or a 53k stadium. Given the smaller north-south footprint available the pitch has been positioned to make way for a larger South stand.
I don’t think the seating was ever going to go all the way to the top in the north stand. Unless you increased the angle (or rake) dramatically.
Personally I'm not that concerned, but I know the shape of the north stand was a bug bear for others.

There is a part of me that wishes we had not gone for the single tier and ended up with something more like this. However, I suspect the footprint was an issue and there would have been complaints about an identikit symmetrical bowl

TBF, that's pretty much the same effect as what we're getting, although I do prefer the 'scalloped' curves that go from the west and east stands where they meet the north stand.

That looks more pleasing on the eye than a severe diagonal line. I dont know why they couldn;t have incorporated at least that in...although it's probably a matter of taste.

None of that could be incorporated as there is simply no room for such a large double stand with a triple tier on either side hugging round.

The North stand we have is smaller than that shown on that vid.

It'll be sound Dave, you'll like it ?

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting we have a stadium with triple tiers either side of the north stand, as per that video, just the shape of the lines seperating east and west stands from the north end stand to be less acute.

That isn’t the plan at the moment, I’m sure.

But the club will build a plan if it’s not going to be ready until the November, say.

Either way, we’ll know far in advance when the last match at Goodison will be. It won’t be the Wednesday before when we suddenly realise that.
Mate, this is Everton we're talking about. There's a very decent chance we'll all still be sat in Goodison while the lads kick off the first game at BMD cos they've forgotten to let everyone know.

Ha! Fair point!

I can see it now... 20,000 fans and 7 first team squad members don't get the message and are left sprinting down Walton Lane.
