New Everton Stadium

Yeah, I think so. The best solutions would be to build a new station between Sandhills and Moorfields AND improve Sandhills. Sadly, neither of these things will happen. At the very least, though, I think we will expect to see better facilities outside the station to help with marshalling the queues. More covering for the bad weather, for example. As has been stated as well, if the time of the next trains is displayed at BMD that will help people plan their walk from the ground and encourage people to have a pint.
upton park was a bottleneck, hopefully entertainment after the game for an hour would be a great help

This is probably a stupid question but.. currently the east and west stands don't meet the floor. Does anyone know if they'll go further down or will the pitch be build up?

Very good sir. ? ? ? ? Take a bow.

Not a stupid question, at all. I've been thinking that myself. Total guess but I'd say the south stand still has about a third of a way to go. I'm guessing similar for the north stand. I'd suppose that they need to get as close as possible to the back of the stands with the crawler cranes to put the roof trusses on. Once they're on, they'll finish the concrete terracing, I'd say. Anybody with an engineering background have a take on this?

The gaps currently at the front of, and in between the already fitted terracing, are to allow temp supports for roof trusses (identifiable on the LOR run through video as red columns similar to the tower cranes) and crawler cranes to move along the stand.

Further to this, been mooching through videos and found the LOR recent one which shows a brief clip of the 3D design plan which I've grabbed these from...

Until seeing your post i didn't realise there was a date in the top left corner. That's really useful for us to keep tabs on schedule. Seems we are pretty much where we should be too which is nice.
