New Everton Stadium

Yep and less then 20 hours later a RS journo - goes dont look at us - look over there..............
They're that hard faced over these matters I doubt it'd have occurred to them.

There's a full on propaganda war being waged by Liverpool and their media enablers, now that their team are on the slide, to win wars off the pitch over matters like contesting the word 'victim' used against their fans and damaging Everton's profile because of this new stadium.

I'd expect more of these culture wars as they continue to crater and shortly before Klopp frigs off.

Im not to bothered about the article tbh, i mean not like we are buying or selling slaves is it - we're not the local authority, not our business to be renaming docks or streets. Its a while since ive seen us be able to stir them in their seats - the ground does that and they dont like it, its getting increasing coverage in the media and increasing profile, the location and the amenity is a threat to their profile in the City and to their draw and attraction of neutral visitors. Ive noticed recently they are doing everything they can to have Mordor pictured as if its near the river.

On a broader media note you are right, to my mind, the victim thing is the over amplification of feigning a mortol moral wound for every perceived slight with a total lack of awareness of being the worst sporting team in the league, by that i mean they have poor sportsmanship skills particularly Klopp, the Henderson thing is just another recent example of many. That and Heysel, a tragedy worked hard on to be unacknowledged and human loss's disenfranchised, they shouldn't be allowed forget.

Horrible club and horrible fans. Regards the new stadium, maybe an opening tournament of 4 teams might be in order. The other 3 being Steau Bucharest, Juventus and a top Brazilian club to reference Bramley-Moore's nefarious connections with that country?

That divvy Tony Evans of such reputable publications as "The South China Morning Post" was ranting last week that the only people pushing the agenda of JFT39 were Tories and/or Evertonians.

That it was, and will sadly remain, a travesty of justice holds no meaning for his like.

He actually describes himself as "Hooligan" in his Twitter bio, amongst other things.

Spot on mate on both issues.

The stadium is the equivalent of shoving a stick into a huge hornets nest. They HATE it's happening.

The campaigning on the victim word is as pathetic as it gets. Imagine DEMANDING the whole of football curtails their behaviour because they can't address their own historic crimes.

The two issues were uppermost in Hughes' mind when he wrote his tragical history tour piece for The Arthritic...you better believe that!

Juventus would be a great idea. Hand of friendship held out to Turin from the authentic club of the city of Liverpool to repair the damaged relations caused by the bogus Liverpool club.

He better stay down in London pissed out of his head writing his guff siting in a wheelie bin. He might get a lot of trouble if he comes back up here again.

He will be back soon, nobody will employ the whiskey nosed bellend.
He's either very brave or very stupid.

I know if it was me and I'd written something completely untrue about a Merseyside football club's fans concerning the disparaging of other dead scousers I'd be pretty wary....

Hes sub human scum.

It irks me the way people like him think Hillsborough only happened to Liverpool Football Club and its fans.

The whole region was touched, affected, we all know somebody who was there, some of us know people who died, I will never forget waiting around to find out if my 3 mates got home safe. I used to babysit for a friend of my Aunties, her husband died, 2 children left without a father cos he went to a football match.

Then that bellend says we dont care.

An empty room and a blow torch, thats all I ask.
