0.6 miles from Sandhills versus 1.8 miles from James Street...

Though to be fair, I can see myself walking the 2 miles straight from Lime Street when I come.

If the weather's a bit grim, or you just cba with the walk, you can go to the underground at Lime Street and then there's a train every 5 mins that will get you to Central in 2 mins, where you can swap for Sandhills with trains every 5 mins, or you could stay on for 2 mins more and get off at James Street and walk from there.

Oh, and the Old Hall Street entrance/exit makes Moorfields the closest of the city centre stations, not James Street.

Getting them roof trusses in place still looks a good while off , there's still plenty of concrete terracing to go in on both ends.
That's not a moan btw , it's coming on at a mind blowing pace.
Just looking at it realistically , as some thought they would be lifted on or around 27th October.
Looks more like early to mid December to me.

Haven't caught up with this thread yet but I really like the trees idea.

There's several types of tree that are more tolerant to salt spray or being near salt water.

I'm sure @Joey66 will know a lot more than me on this topic.
