New Everton Stadium

Because it is still a single tier stand.

The break in the stand is for the back of the safe standing. People in the first row of the upper (seated only) section won't have their view impeded by those ahead. (Believe it or not, not everybody behind the goal likes to stand.)

No. They can't, even if they make the upper section safe standing I think it's wide enough for a wheelchair to pass down that gap. (wheelchair bays at that level in all four corner quarters.

The reduced height was due to the clubs miserable cowing to UNESCO and English Heratige. Should have just flicked the Vs at them.

I get it, I'm also disappointed it's not a continual single stand. But I'd rather focus my energies on the continued miserable performance of our chairman and his staff of arse sniffers rather than being worried about a few shy and sensitive lads who are too bashful to start a chant down the front.
Thanks for the info mate, I wondered why the 'break' makes sense now.

Man, she's looking unreal.

What I'm noting more and more in the stands are going to be right on top of the pitch and the gradients are so sharp, like Goodison, from my amateur eye

She's going to be just as uncomfortable to play in for the opposition, if not more so with more people...hopefully.
A lot of the gradients at goodison are pretty poor tbh... Paddock and lower street end especially.

Tb is great though. I'll miss the quirkiness of it though. The walk ways that are only wide enough for a small child... Plus the ones that don't go anywhere. Always funny when you see someone walking down trying to find the exit on them

It's only just a bit bigger than the park end so I'm going to give it a miss... lol

Or someone going flying down a stand walkway after a few to many, or a few rows forward after we score.. The quirkiness about Goodison is what i love, down to the mad escalators that don't really belong there but prob have to be with health and safety, each part of the ground you can trace back to a moment of history whether it be good or bad, all evolution.

What i love most of all is being right on top of the pitch, I'm not precious about most things at the new ground down to the minimum, i just hope and fropm what im seeing its the same feel of being right on top of it and amongst it at the new ground and we can intimidate whoever, or get right behind the team and that same connection exists. That and they better have Chang. lol
