Mate - you playing the ref? My one comment was as much off topic as yours! Hardly clogging.

The stadium build is looking great - I love to see all the updates by drone, its very exciting. Let's hope our team can be one that the stadium deserves. What else is there to be said?

There are plenty of places to bemoan the state of our present team across the forum, but this thread is the one bright spot at the moment where it's not necessary to think about that particular misery.

Since you're"not arsed enough to start a separate thread," at least try and find one that fits a bit better if you want to moan about the team - which you are absolutely entitled to do.

I take your point but I think you're being a bit sensitive mate its not as if it were a Davek rant. I'm not moaning about the team - in fact I'm one of the few here who only sedom does - I've seen enough of modern football to drive pretty much all real interest from me. I was just dropping in an aside.
 

If you get to go down there, you can see side on the steepness of the East Stand (the South Stand is even steeper). The steepness of the East Stand cant be far off what the top balcony is (I know it cant be the same as I think there were certain legislations put in place for what steepness was allowes) but it looks unreal the rake on it, sightlines will be absolutely mint.

With that North Stand truss now right across, you get a real sense of the height/size of the stadium. It's crazy because the videos and pics on this thread are boss but nothing can compare to you seeing it through your own eyes, it's going to look unreal once finished.

I think what he's getting at Chris, is that this thread is where a lot of us take refuge from all the terrible things about present day Everton. We come in here to see the progress of our shiny new home and regenerate our energy, before venturing back on to the threads devoted to the shocking things that are happening to our club both in the boardroom and on the pitch.

This thread has become my respite from the playing side of things. I come on here, see the pics and drone videos of the progress made on the stadium and it gives me the enthusiasm to go back on to the playing side of the forum and moan like feck about what a badly run circus we are and how poor quite a few of the players are. Anyway, the stadium looks great ( to get back on topic).

Yes mate it was done yesterday. Go a page or so back and theres a Mr Drone video of it ;)

Edit- just realised his latest vid hasn't been posted but yeah go on Mr Drone YT channel and his latest vid has the truss getting fitted (not a fan of his midweek vids usually as I find the q&a section quite pointless and it's just repeating the same footage. But at least this weeks had a bit of the roof truss getting fitted)
